Sexy Redd is a rapper. She first garnered viral attention in 2018, for reworking Vanessa Carlton’s “A Thousand Miles” on her track “Ah Thousand Jugs”. In 2022, she collaborated with Summer Walker on the controversial music video “Sense Dat God Gave You”. Her mainstream breakthrough came after she released the single “Pound Town” with Tay Keith in January 2023, which later received a remix entitled “Pound Town 2” with Nicki Minaj, and became her first entry on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Sexyy Red has also appeared on the remixes of “Shake Sumn” by DaBaby and “Slut Me Out” by NLE Choppa. After the release of her mixtape Hood Hottest Princess (2023), Billboard declared her as “one of the biggest breakout artists of summer 2023”.
