LNP is working on RGB protocol. A new protocol that will enable smart contract on a layer 2 and even on a layer 3 (on top of LN). For those who haven’t heard about RGB protocol: it will be a smart contract platform on top of bitcoin & LN where:
– validation happen on client side
– state and contract is not stored on chain
– there is privacy through zero-knowledge protocol
