Britney Spears and Paul Richard Soliz have ended their short-lived romantic involvement, a source exclusively reveals to Us Weekly.
The insider shares, “Britney and Paul have gone their separate ways. It was a short-lived romance but nothing serious and they’re no longer together.”
Earlier this week, Soliz, 37, spoke exclusively to Us about his connection with Spears, 41, following his court appearance for an alleged probation violation. While he didn’t delve into specific details about their relationship, he did express admiration for Spears, describing her as a “phenomenal woman” and a “very, very good, positive” person.
Spears, an icon in the entertainment industry, has had her fair share of high-profile relationships, including with figures like Justin Timberlake, Fred Durst, K-Fed, and Criss Angel.
Soliz also shared that Spears was “doing great” after her separation from estranged husband Sam Asghari. Asghari, 29, filed for divorce from Spears on August 16, citing “irreconcilable differences.” He requested spousal support and attorney’s fees, with their date of separation noted as July 28.
After news of her divorce broke, Spears stated, “As everyone knows, Hesam and I are no longer together… 6 years is a long time to be with someone so, I’m a little shocked but … I’m not here to explain why because its honestly nobody’s business!!!”
Asghari also addressed their separation, acknowledging that “s–t happens” and expressing well wishes for Spears.
Following the breakup, rumors circulated about infidelity playing a role, with an insider alleging that Spears cheated on Asghari with Soliz, who had previously worked on her home maintenance team.
As Spears enters this new phase of her life, another source revealed last month that she’s been focusing on personal growth, working on projects including a memoir and new music, marking a fresh chapter for the iconic artist.
