Megyn Kelly, a prominent media personality, asserted on a Newsmax program that Michelle Obama harbors negative sentiments towards America, particularly in the context of recent reports suggesting the former first lady as a potential presidential contender in 2024. Kelly’s comments were made during an appearance on “Eric Bolling The Balance,” where they discussed a Washington Times article highlighting the view of some Democrats on Obama’s potential presidential capabilities.
Despite widespread reports indicating that Michelle Obama has categorically stated her reluctance to run for president, Kelly and Bolling entertained the hypothetical scenario. Kelly went on to make unsubstantiated claims, suggesting that the Obamas exert influence over the White House from behind the scenes.

She stated, “I think Michelle Obama is seen as a savior figure by the Democrats. However, she’s also gonna motivate Republicans. And I’m sure she’ll say, ‘I’m motivating to them because they’re all racists.’ No, it’s because you don’t like America,” Kelly claimed.
Kelly proceeded to provide a weak character analysis to support her assertion, referencing Obama’s past decisions regarding her hairstyle during her time as First Lady, which she attributed to concerns about racism. She also invoked Oprah Winfrey, suggesting that American support for her television show played a significant role in her rise as a media figure, allowing her to present herself as she pleased.
In response to Kelly’s remarks, one commenter remarked, “Her opinion is worthless,” while another noted that Kelly appears to be catering to the lowest common denominators. Others pointed out Kelly’s controversial history, including her departure from NBC News after making comments about blackface.
Since her departure, Kelly has launched her own show, “The Megyn Kelly Show,” which airs daily on SiriusXM. She also makes guest appearances on conservative-leaning cable news programs.
