Lil Durk Reveals He Cut Kanye West From His Album

Lil Durk says that fellow Chicago rapper, Kanye West actually helped him with his album…but then he later decided against using Ye’s contributions.

“You know he actually did my whole album. But I ain’t use it.” Durkio proceeded to explain the specific additions Kanye made to the body of work. “He tweaked with the beats, he put some vocals behind some beats. He played with a couple records, I’m a say that,” Durk told Akademiks.

There isn’t any beef between Durk and Ye and Durk seemed to hint that he may drop a different version of the album later with Ye’s contributions.

“I don’t know. He did some genius sh-t. I’m trying to see if I can come back with some genius sh-t and double my sales,” he said.

Durk’s new album, Almost Healed is out today and features an impressive lineup, including Alicia Keys, Future and J. Cole.
